Running a non-profit is a lot of work. There are a lot of things to do just to keep things moving. It’s even harder when you don’t have any staff to help.

But sometimes it’s all worthwhile.

Today I got to write some letters to brand new college students. Our newest Lamp of Learning alumni just went off to school and I got to write them a letter. More importantly, through the efforts of the board and one in particular, Pam Marcheski, we have an additional gift to include in the letter this year. Pam was able to secure a gift from @Target that allowed us to send out gift cards to these students. It will be a nice surprise when they get THIS letter!
